What words will remain when the inane enact a book ban?
What facts survive unchanged?
Will our history be honestly maintained?
Will our world be the same?
Will the allergy to the truth
become the new fiction
That satisfies one particular group
What makes them naysay?
Why are they so afraid?
Could it be that they only share one brain?
If we ban all the words
What will we share, who will we be
Educated and enlightened
Or close minded and empty
What is your plan
When the naysayers
Enact their ban
